Chennai Beach Cleanup Drive 2017

Rentokil - PCI team took part in the 8th edition of Chennai Beach Cleanup Drive on 18th June, 2017. Volunteers from both Rentokil and Pest Control India, brought together by Better Futures - Rentokil Initial's CSR arm, were among the 6,000+ members who had participated in the annual CSR event. The event marked the first combined CSR activity by both Rentokil and Pest Control India employees post the joint venture between both the brands. An estimated 50 tonnes of garbage from a 20km stretch of the beach, starting from Marina till Akkarai, were collected through the activity. While the biodegradable wastes were left on the beach for natural decomposition, the non-biodegradable wastes were taken away for recycling purpose. Through our CSR efforts, Rentokil Initial strives to Make A Difference to the communities in which we operate.
